This blog is for all those first-time oriental carpet buyers who wonder what they should be looking for in a salesman - and in the carpets he/she is selling. The idea is that you learn about what makes handmade carpets special so that you know who is for real and who is full of it.

My name is Hüseyin Keser and I have been a carpet salesman myself for the past 20 years in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul and in the Midwest of the United States.
